Is it Saturday?

I think it is. Today I worked at the always lovely Panera Bread, and I got off around 2:30 this afternoon. I headed home to relax for a little while. I sprained my back at work. Trust me it is as bad as it sounds; I have been sitting very still ever since. 

I went to dinner with my mom in Northbrook, and we went to a pizza place called Barnaby's. This place was around when my mom was younger than I am now. Their pizza is fantastic! It is a thin crust pizza that is super crusty and delisious! After dinner we went to Nordstrom Rack and Marshalls for window shopping. I like window shopping alot until you find something you really like. I bought a pair of Michael Kors Jeans for 30 dollars; which was a fourth of the original price. 

Last thing to mention before I go... THE HAWKS WON!!!

I am becoming a hockey fan little by little, and the Chicago Blackhawks are definitely my favorite team. I am very glad that the lockout is over, and that the games are finally underway. I hope that the season doesn't go to fast. Happy Saturday!

Hey all...

I know you are probably wondering why I haven't blogged in forever. Or maybe you are not and don't wait around for a new post from me. I have been working crazy hours while on break, and I have two more days of work. After that it's laundry, laundry, packing, and laundry. I am moving (needs its own post to explain), and I am getting ready for a new semester to begin on Thursday.

Who begins a semester on a Thursday? Lol.

I am hoping to blog before the semester begins, and good luck to all those going into a new semester. Work hard, study hard, and most of all have fun!

Can I be one to say that I have a hard time thinking it's actually 2013? You mean that I actually survived the dreaded 12-21-12? Now, I have to adjust to writing 2013 on all my lovely homework assignments. I feel that it is going to be a great year. I normally don't look ahead at the beginning of the year and think about all I am going to do or accomplish. I foresee a lot happening in a good way! I will be turning the big 2-0 (scares me to death), I will be halfway done with my degree, and hopefully I can get a great job at the hospital again. I have a lot to look forward to, but a lot I need to work on. I want to work on myself this year in my selfishness, my attitude, my conversations, and my faith. I am going to make this post short and sweet because I am ready to hit the hay! Xoxo -b

A very random blog post.

Hey all you lovely people!
I am practically out of things to say already. I just don't have the blogging fever anymore. I have been awake and on my feet since 4:45 a.m. I was at work for nine hours and then proceeded to head the gym I joined yesterday. I have been eating not so healthy food, and I refuse to gain the weight I lost. So, I downloaded new music to my ipod, tightened up my laces, and hit the rubberized track. I got the college student monthly rate, and being that I still have a month at home I figured I will actually use it. I am excited to work out at 5 am from now on! Not! I figured that if I workout that early I will be motivated to eat healthy and live healthy the rest of the day.

I hope that everyone's Christmas's were spectacular! Mine was very traditional and that is just what I wanted. My whole family goes to my grandma's house on Christmas Eve to celebrate and open gifts (now just money). On Christmas Day, my mom and I open each other's gifts and have cinnamon rolls. In the afternoon we go to my Great Aunt Carol's house and completely stuff ourselves with amazing food!

Christmas Movie Traditions!

After a long day at work today, My mom and I are partaking a Miller Family Tradition. Very year without fail we watch Christmas Vacation. It is one of the stupidest yet funniest movies I have ever seen. This year we got a group of our friends at school to watch the movie together. Some had seen it before, and some had never seen it and probably thought it was crazy! I mean what more is there to love there is thousands of Christmas lights, some vulgar language, and ridiculous humor!

I don't think they have enough lights?

Panera Bread

This place has been hopping, and today was the worst! There was lines like you couldn't believe, and my friends came into my store today. It was good to see them, but I didn't even have time to really talk to them. I came home to a surprise from my mom. She had put up our Christmas tree this afternoon! It was nice to come home to that after a long day at work. I have been working most days, and then after working I come home and take a nap. Being on my feet all day at work really wears me out! Duh, it's supposed to.

I hope you all are having a lovely holiday season and great start to your winter break. If I don't post before Christmas, I hope you all have fantastic Christmas Eve's and Day celebrations!
