2012: The year the world is "supposed" to end, but my life is just beginning. So much has happened already this year from interim on love and marriage, to hours of movies, dancing in the rain, and making friendship bracelets.
The semester officially began on Thursday, but lucky me I don't have classes on Thursdays! Woohoo!
My schedule is pretty full this second-half of my freshman year. I am taking Chemistry, History, Philosophy, Psychology, and Theology. It's not that I have tons of classes, but rather there is tons of homework. I was filling in my planner according to the syllabus, and it probably took me the entire length of the movie P.S. I Love you to fill it in.
My thoughts so far on the semester:
1) I thought I had a lot of papers last semester; think again.
2) I foresee a lot of well earned hand cramps in my future.
3) Lastly, I foresee a lot of late nights and caffeine do to my procrastination and awesome schedule.
There are a lot of decisions being made over the next couple of months that could affect my life forever, and those decisions aren't in my hands. I applied for an unpaid internship at a camp in Florida, and I had my Skype interview yesterday. Talk about nerve wracking. I was wearing a scarf, and I think I about strangled myself because I kept twisting or pulling on it. Anyway, I find out in 13 days if I got the spot or not. I will count down everyday if I have too. Another big decision coming up is whether or not I will be chosen to be a Resident Assistant for the 2012-2013 school year at my college. It is a long process of turning in the app, waiting to see if I get to go to the group interview, and waiting again for hopefully the individual interview. If I pass all these things I might have a chance to be an RA. It is nerve wracking already, and I haven't even turned in the application already.
OK, enough blogging for the morning. I must start some laundry, and do all my homework for tomorrows classes.
