Happy Thanksgiving!

This is my 18th Turkey Day, but who's counting.

I am thankful for:
- my amazing life God has given me
- my family
- my friends
- my church
- my home
- for my college education
- and pretty much everything!

I'm super excited because thanksgiving is probably one of my favorite day especially because of the food and being able to over emphasis my thankfulness. Also, I get to go Black Friday shopping with friends tonight!

Ciao! Happy Turkey Day!

Homework Break

It is officially 13 1/2 hours until I am free from homework....

Well at least for 5 days. I am in the middle of composing my 5 page paper for my group presentation tomorrow. I am also beginning to run out of things to say, and instead of writing my paper I have:

1) Eaten Ramen
2) Listened to iTunes
3) Watched an episode of Grey's Anatomy
4) Wandered down the hallway
5) Checked Facebook for the tenth time
6) and..... I am currently and obviously updating my blog!

My original intention of writing this blog was to blog about something I am thankful for on Tuesday before Turkey Day.

I am very thankful for homework.
hmm... that sounds bad.
No, I am thankful for homework because when I finish an assignment I am free and that burden is off my shoulders. I love the feeling of accomplishment and relief of stress.

So... in order to feel the above emotions I am going to publish this blog, and finish my paper!

Ciao for now!

Thankful for...

I am very thankful for the fact that I have to clean. This may sound very strange, but I am very thankful for the negative things in life.We have room checks, and it requires major cleaning. I thought we needed a hazmat suit (Just Kidding). I hate cleaning, but I am thankful for it because that means I have a room to clean and many things to make it dirty.

I am also proud to say that our room was not nearly that dirty!

We cleaned the suite over a period of 2 days. Vacuuming, dusting, organizing, laundry, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, Windex, and many more things. Its not like the dorm is big, but there is a bathroom, closet, entrance, and the two rooms.

My favorite part was that my roommate said, "It's Clean! We should leave it this way."

So, I think we are going to leave it organized and clean more often.

Stress, Little Sleep, and Registration.

Mondays.
Not my favorite, but when you throw a chemistry exam in as well; I would start to freak out! I have been told that the average for the exam was a 62. WHAT? Now I'm stressed to find out my grade!

I'm starting to get excited because Thanksgiving is almost here and Christmas too! But... that means I have to register for next semester already! (If you couldn't tell this is going to be a stressful blog post.) Last night, Stark floor, and everyone else registered for their interim class.
Hmm? More stress you say?
From 15 people in the small lounge, to screaming, to trying to pick the class before it filled up, to popup blockers, and not to mention mass chaos.
I bet you are wondering if I got the class I wanted? You betcha.

I am extremely excited to participate in this two week course. It is called Love, Relationships, and Marriage (I think). What's even more exciting is I am taking it with my entire suite and most likely more people. I can't wait to take this class with my friends, and learn about one of my favorite subjects.

I am off to start homework, until 9pm for Bible study.... which out of odd coincidence is being taught by our RD's wife on Love and Marriage. How awesome!

Ciao for now!

Confined to a 12' x 12' room.

Oh, the college life full of late nights, long papers, loud alarm clocks, and one tiny dorm room! I'm not necessarily confined, but limited to where I live compared to being at home. I have already been living in South Hall, the oldest and a/c lacking dorm on campus, for over 11 weeks(but absolutely love it here)! I absolutely love my floor, and my roommates. I thought it would be a rough transition from  high school to college. No home sickness for me, cause the girls on my floor are amazing friends and are always an open door away.

I always thought college would be really, really, really hard, but I was only half wrong its easy homework wise and just really hard paper wise. I have written thousands of words, and received mediocre grades for my efforts. I could lie, and say that I am always 100% prepared for class, but i'm soooo not. Procrastination from high school showed up in the form of Facebook, Wii, and tons of new friends. It also doesn't help that i'm blogging about all this; so until next time.... my homework is calling. (But I may just avoid it for Facebook) Adios!

Blogging Instead of Homework.

This is my first attempt at a blog. I may do well, or it may be horrible!

Today is a Monday. A long day that practically every human wants to avoid, and would like to skip to Friday afternoon. After four classes, daylight savings, and 6 hours of sleep; I am avoiding all of my homework by blogging.

I will post random blogs throughout the week, hopefully. I hope you enjoy or get a good laugh; since I have no idea how to blog! I am sorry for such a randomly organized blog.
